Driving Directions

Bend is almost in the geographical center of Oregon.  Accessible on Highway 97 from the North or South.  Highway 20 Crosses east and west through Bend from Idaho the the Pacific Ocean.

Bend can be approached form all four directions.  Please note however that when coming from the west, you will be curving around and be entering the city from the north.  Subsequently, directions will be addressed either from the north, south or east.

Bend is situated on the banks of the Deschutes River.  A beautiful surrounding in the high deserts of Central Oregon.

To the north of Bend is the city of Redmond.  Just west of Redmond is the resort of Eagle Crest offering three golf courses, three sports centers with a variety of activities including swimming pools, hot tubs, exercise rooms, indoor and out door tennis courts and more.

Further north is the City of Madras.  West of Madras is the Indian Reservation of Warm Springs.  Warm Springs offers a large thermo heated swimming pool, rentable wig-wams for overnight stays and a casino.

North East of Bend is the city of Prineville.  Here you will find resevours with boating, fishing, water activities and more.

South of Bend. on the banks of the Deschutes River is the resort community of Sunriver.  There are two golf courses here and miles of biking - hiking trails, as well as some river activities.

Further south of Bend lies the city of La Pine.  A small county town with more lakes close at hand and plenty of hiking trails.

West of Bend sits the wester town of Sisters.  With the feel of the old west, Sisters offers shops galore.

And still further west is Black Butte Ranch, a resort community.  Hiking, biking and swimming are among some of the activities.
